Broads Abroad

Long day of travel today. We had to get some miles under our belt.

Jane is our driver and Mary our co driver. Eight hours to Valencia with one stop to make chicken salad sandwiches.

Mary is an astute navigator and keeps us on task.

We passed through groves of olives, almonds and grapes.

The most interesting part was driving by houses built into the sides of the sierra madres dating back to 711 and built be the Moors.

I couldn’t find a picture of the houses in the hillside so I give you our tariff free wine.
