Welcome everyone to our blog..
We are friends who have been traveling together for years and have visited many countries. Judith Dakin, the oldest of our group hails from Downeast Maine and is nicknamed “Sister Economata” and keeps us on budget. Mary Talley is from the Ellsworth Maine area and will be our navigator and road master. Jane Haslam is our bartender and social director. The fourth and final member, Jill Ahern will act as secretary and will be the keeper of the blog.
We leave for Portugal the end of March and pick up an RV and will keep you all abreast of our travels. We shall call ourselves “the Broads Abroad.”
So, Judy, Mary, Jane and myself will be packing and planning. I ask that all four of us share a memory from one of our trips and perhaps a photo so everyone can get to know us better.
